one day in july, a young boy went to the beach with his older sister and his mom. the boy had just learned how to perfectly skip a stone. he tried skipping mussels and rocks, he was doing a contest of skipping 3 shells and 3 rocks. They each gathered 6 rocks. His sister went first. she skipped 4 out of 6. then the boy went. the first 3 shells were fine, but then when he got to the 6th one.. it came skipping back. his eyes widened and his sister opened her mouth wide. they rushed back to their dad, but when they got to him, the rock that skipped backwards, was in the boys hand. how may you ask? well, if the rock skipped backwards then it would go on land.
